When considering the move to Las Vegas, there is several factors you need to consider other than what moving company to use. First, do you have kids? Second, do you prefer the hustle and bustle of the strip or a more secluded area?

If you’re looking for an area that is quiet, peaceful and a far distance from the city, Meadows Village might be right for you. This area is located (roughly) 30 minutes from the strip and it is closer to the mountains. There are several gated communities in the area, which is perfect if you have children or just prefer not to be bothered by anybody but your own neighbors! There is a shopping center within a mile of the area as well as a shopping mall. Moving companies in the area are easily accessible and fairly cheap as well.
Another small neighborhood that is a bit more affordable than Meadows Village is Rancho Charleston. This area is closer to the strip but not so close that you’re bothered by the noises of the strip. This area has a highly rated school system as well as a low crime rate, making it ideal for raising a family.
The third and final area is Downtown Las Vegas. This area is very historic because it is where Las Vegas began before the strip was made. Downtown Las Vegas is on the cheaper side but if you’re planning on raising a family here, you need to do your research. Certain areas on DT Las Vegas are more dangerous than others. However, kids will love Freemont Street due to all the flashing lights, zip lining, and mini shops.
